GENERAL:

Infotech Corporation of Goa Limited (ITG) was formerly known as Electronic Corporation of Goa Limited (ECGL).Electronic Corporation of Goa Ltd was registered on 18-04-1990 as subsidiary of EDC to undertake promotion of Electronics Industry in the state of Goa. The name of the Company was changed to Info Tech Corporation of Goa (ITG) Limited on 27th April 2001.

OBJECTIVES:

The main objectives of ITG are as follows:

• Creation of IT Infrastructure for promotion of IT Industry in the state of Goa by establishing, lT / Cyber Cities, Parks, Townships, including infrastructure and communication faculties such as development of Land, Plots, Construction of Roads, Water supply facility, Electricity supply, Drainage, Telephone etc.
• To assist the Government of Goa in respect of computerization Government Department/Autonomous Bodies and other e-governance projects.
